Peugeot 206 multifunction steering wheel failure

Hey, I had something similar happen in my 206. The steering controls went haywire. It turned out to be a connectivity problem somewhere in the steering column. Have you checked the wiring harness?

Honestly, I couldn't pinpoint the exact spot. I messed around with it a little, but ended up taking it to a workshop. They mentioned something about a faulty sensor within the steering wheel controls. They told me it was a common issue.

Thanks for the information! Turns out the cable connection was indeed defective, as initially suspected. The repair cost me 95€. Everything works as it should again.
