Peugeot 206 Oxygen Sensor Issue
Summary of the thread
A 2011 Peugeot 206 diesel is experiencing a check engine light and increased fuel consumption, suspected to be due to an oxygen sensor issue. The error code indicates a malfunction in the oxygen sensor circuit, affecting the air-fuel ratio. The error code says there's a malfunction in the oxygen sensor circuit. Also, the diagnostic report says the air-fuel ratio isn't right. Did your diagnostic info say the O2 sensor, or something else?

Yep, O2 sensor was the main suspect for me too. Honestly, I didn't mess with it myself. Just took it to a workshop and they sorted it. Might be the easiest way to go, save yourself some headaches.

Thanks. I'll think about taking it to a mechanic. Sounds like the fix was replacing the O2 sensor and fixing the connection, costing 95€.

I had something similar with my 206 (can't remember the year). Check engine light and bad fuel efficiency. I didn't check the error codes myself like you, but was it pointing to anything specific besides 'O2 sensor'?
