Peugeot 206 Stalling at Idle
Summary of the thread
A 2011 Peugeot 206 was experiencing stalling at idle and a check engine light, with an error code indicating incorrect fuel composition. The issue was suspected to be related to fuel quality or a bad fuel filter. A suggestion to check the fuel system wiring revealed a loose plug connection on the fuel sensor. Cleaning and tightening the connection resolved the problem, eliminating the check engine light and restoring smooth idling.

Wiring, huh? Can you be a bit more specific? Which wiring are we talking about, exactly? Fuel system related, I guess? What should I be looking for?

Yeah, fuel system. Turned out to be a defective plug connection of some component. The garage charged me 95€ and it was fixed. I would suggest you go to the workshop.

Thanks a lot for the tip! I checked the fuel system wiring and found a loose plug connection on the fuel sensor, like you said. Gave it a good clean and tightened it up. Seems like that was the culprit! Light's off, and the engine is idling smoothly again. You saved me some serious garage fees!

Hey, I had a similar problem on my 206. Have you checked the wiring?
