Peugeot 206 Sunroof Initialization Error

Sunroof on my 2015 Peugeot 206 (gasoline engine) is throwing a 'sunroof not initialized' error. The sunblind is stuck, and the roof won't open or close. Could recent coding be the cause?

I had a similar problem with my 206. Does the diagnostic tool show anything besides the initialization error? Sounds like the whole system is down.

The tool only shows the 'sunroof not initialized' error. I tried a reset, but it didn't work. How did you fix yours?

My error persisted after a reset too. It was a more complex issue. Given your symptoms and the error code, a workshop visit is probably best. They'll likely reinitialize the system, which might solve it.

Thanks for the suggestion. The workshop reinitialized the sunroof system. The error's gone, and everything works now. Cost 75€. Appreciate the help!
