Peugeot 206 Terminal 15 Ignition Positive Interruption

Hey, I'm having a weird issue with my 2014 Peugeot 206, gasoline engine. The error memory says there's an interruption with the Terminal 15 ignition positive. Basically, the engine won't start. I checked a few things, and it seems like it could be a defective cable or plug connection somewhere. Anyone else run into this? I'm pulling my hair out here, and I'm trying to avoid a huge bill! I'm already looking at 95€ based on the error report.

I had something similar with my 206. Engine wouldn't crank. Check the ignition switch first. Also, give the fuse box a good look over, especially the fuses related to the power supply and starter solenoid. A voltage drop can cause all sorts of headaches. Did you check for any obvious corrosion?

Thanks for the quick reply! Which fuses specifically should I be checking? And where exactly is the ignition switch located? I'm not the most experienced mechanic, so any pointers would be appreciated!

So the fuse for the starter solenoid is usually in the fuse box under the steering wheel, check the diagram usually printed on the cover. As for the ignition switch, it's right behind where you put the key, of course. But honestly, if you're not super confident, this sounds like a job for a workshop, especially with that specific error code. Could save you more hassle in the long run.

Thanks a lot for the advice! I took it to a workshop as you suggested, and you were spot on. Turns out it was a corroded connector on the ignition switch. New connector, all fixed, and the car starts like a charm now. Really appreciate the help!
