Peugeot 206 Windshield Washer Heater Issue
Summary of the thread
A 2016 Peugeot 206 owner is experiencing issues with the windshield washer heater, leading to frozen spray nozzles in cold weather and an error stored in the memory. The suspected cause is a faulty cable or plug connection. A suggestion was made to check the voltage at the plug when the heater is active, but it was advised to have a professional inspect it to avoid further damage. The owner plans to take the car to a workshop for repair, with a mechanic quoting a price for fixing the connection issue.

Thanks for the tip! I haven't checked the voltage yet. Where exactly is the plug located? Is it easy to get to, or do I need to remove a bunch of stuff?

On my Corsa, it was pretty accessible after removing the plastic cover under the windshield. But it is different for every car brand. It's probably best to have a professional take a look to avoid damaging anything. I ended up having to go to the workshop to have it fixed.

Okay, thanks for the advice! I'll probably take it to a workshop then. The mechanic says it's a faulty connection and quoted about 95€ for the repair. Appreciate the help!

That sounds familiar. I had a similar problem with my Opel Corsa a while back. Same symptoms – error code and frozen nozzles. It might be worth checking the heating element itself, but in my case, it was also the connection. Have you checked the voltage at the plug when the heater is supposed to be on?
