Peugeot 207 AC not cooling

Hi. My 2014 Peugeot 207 diesel's AC isn't cooling. 133288 km on the clock. A warning light's on, and a scan showed a refrigerant compressor error. Could it be the compressor, or something else? Anyone had this?

Hey! Sounds familiar... I had a similar problem with my 207's AC. Stopped blowing cold, and that awful warning light lit up. Compressor, eh? Did you check if maybe it's just a refrigerant leak? Sometimes a stone flicks up and damages the condenser and you slowly lose refrigerant. Is the compressor actually making any noise when you turn the AC on, or is it just dead silent?

Right, silent compressor... Yeah, sounds EXACTLY like what happened to mine. Tried everything, but in the end, the garage said the air conditioning control unit was defective and that was why the compressor wasn't getting power. Honestly, after that, I'd take it to a trusted workshop. They'll diagnose it properly. Better than throwing parts at it and hoping!
