Peugeot 207 Battery Drain
Summary of the thread
A Peugeot 207 from 2008 is experiencing a heavily discharged battery, weak lights, and error messages, possibly due to a bad battery sensor. The issue might be caused by corroded battery terminals or a power drain when the car is off. Suggested solutions include checking the battery terminals for corrosion, testing the battery charging system, and seeking professional diagnostics to identify any power drains.

Thanks! When your battery drained, did the diagnostics point to a bad battery sensor, or was there something else? I'm trying to figure out if replacing the sensor will fix it.

Honestly, I couldn't figure it out myself. Tried cleaning the terminals and even charged the battery, but nothing worked for long. Finally, I gave up and took it to a workshop. They said it was something draining power when the car was off. Best to get it checked properly.

Thanks. Based on that, I'll get it checked out at a service facility. Sounds like a more thorough look is needed. I appreciate the help.

Whoa, sounds familiar! I had almost the exact same thing happen with my 207. Battery kept draining itself. Did you check the battery terminals for corrosion? Also, maybe get the battery charging system tested. Just a thought!
