Peugeot 207 boost pressure sensor issue
Summary of the thread
A 2014 Peugeot 207 diesel exhibited issues such as the check engine light turning on and off, jerking during acceleration, unusual noises, stalling at idle, increased fuel consumption, and reduced power. These symptoms suggested a problem with the boost pressure sensor, potentially due to a bad cable or plug connection. The issue was confirmed by a workshop, which identified a defective boost pressure sensor caused by a bad electrical connection. Replacing the sensor resolved the problem, restoring the vehicle's normal performance.

Could you tell me more about what happened with your Opel Astra? Did it also involve the boost pressure sensor or something else in the turbo system?

Yeah, it turned out to be a faulty boost pressure sensor, just like you suspect. Honestly, it's probably best to get it checked out at a workshop. They'll have the right tools to properly diagnose it and make sure everything is working correctly.

I took it to a workshop, and they said it was a defective boost pressure sensor because of a bad electrical connection. The replacement and labor cost 95€. It fixed the problem, and it's running like normal now. Thanks for the help.

Sounds familiar! I had almost the exact same symptoms with my old Opel Astra. Check engine light, weird noises, the whole shebang. I'd put money on it being something to do with the turbo system. Was a pain to diagnose!
