Yeah, you described it perfectly! It is worse when the engine is cold. What was the problem with your car? Did it cost a lot to fix?

Sounds like the fuel volume regulator is defective, and that usually means the high-pressure pump is faulty. I ended up taking it to a workshop, because I didn't know where to start. They confirmed it. It cost me about 1500€ with labor. I know, like a kick in the teeth, right?

Thanks for the info! I took it to a workshop, and they confirmed it was the high-pressure pump. Sadly, the repair will cost me 1510€. At least now I know what the problem is. Thanks again!

Hey, I had a similar issue with my 207 (don't remember the year). Check engine light was on, and the car felt sluggish. Like trying to run in thick mud, you know? Does it also happen more when the engine is cold?
