Peugeot 207 electric steering column fault

I am experiencing an issue with my Peugeot 207 (2009) diesel. The electric steering column adjustment is no longer functioning. The error memory indicates a fault, and the steering column cannot be adjusted electronically. Based on initial diagnostics, it appears the likely cause is a defective cable or plug connection.

Thank you for the advice. I followed your suggestion and took it to a workshop. Indeed, it was a defective plug connection, as initially suspected. The repair cost 95€. Problem solved.
