Peugeot 207 electrical malfunctions

My 2015 Peugeot 207 with a gasoline engine is giving me fits. I'm seeing a lot of errors and electrical malfunctions, and the navigation system is refusing to function. I suspect a control unit programming issue. Has anyone encountered something similar?

Sounds frustrating! I had a similar experience with my old Volvo V70. The whole car went haywire – warning lights flashing, the radio cutting out randomly. It turned out to be a corrupted software module. Did you run an onboard diagnostics test already? What error codes are you seeing?

Yes, I've already read the error memory. The codes point towards a software glitch in the central control unit. Were the error codes on your Volvo as vague as they are on my Peugeot?

Vague is an understatement! The error codes were about as helpful as a chocolate teapot. I spent days trying to figure it out, but honestly, software gremlins are a pain. If you suspect a programming issue, the best bet is a visit to a workshop that can reflash the control unit. That’s what I had to do with the Volvo in the end.

Thank you, that confirms my suspicion. I'll schedule an appointment with a reputable shop to have the control unit reflashed. Hopefully, that will resolve the issue. I appreciate your help!
