Peugeot 207 Headlight Washer Fault

Afternoon. My 2012 Peugeot 207, diesel, with 172363 km, has a fault with the headlight cleaning system. The windshield washer system has also stopped working. I suspect a defective cable connection to the pump or relay. Anyone seen this before? Before I start ripping apart the front end, is there a common weak point to check first?

I had something similar happen with my 207. Washer fluid stopped spraying, and I initially suspected a blockage in the hose. Have you checked the pump itself? It could be a faulty pump or a blown fuse related to the cleaning system. It’s a pain to get to, mind.

Cheers for the tip. When you say similar, did your headlight cleaning system also stop working at the same time as the windshield washer? Trying to narrow down if it's likely to be a single point of failure affecting both, or two separate issues occurring simultaneously.

Yeah, both went at the same time on mine. Turned out to be the pump connection. A bit of a pain to get to, so I ended up taking it to a local workshop. They sorted it quickly enough. Could be worth doing the same.

Appreciate the confirmation. Saved me a load of time chasing ghosts. I took it to the shop as you suggested. Cable connection of pump faulty, as suspected. Repair cost me 165€. Thanks again for your help!
