Interesting! Was it difficult to diagnose which cable or connection of the oil level sensor was defective? I'd like to avoid unnecessary repairs, if possible.

Honestly, I couldn't pinpoint the exact spot myself. After fiddling around a bit, and past experience, I just gave it to a workshop. They said it was indeed a defective cable or plug connection and they repaired it, but I couldn't see where exactly it was located. Better safe than sorry with oil detection problems, in my opinion.

Alright, thanks a bunch! I appreciate the insight. I'll take it to the workshop and have them check the oil level sensor connections. They quoted me about 95€ for the repair, which seems reasonable. Thanks again for sharing your experience!

Hey, I had similar issues with my 207. Sounds like it could be the oil level sensor connection. I remember having similar symptoms, a faulty oil level sensor will cause havoc with the car's warnings.
