Peugeot 207 power loss check engine

I have a 207 too, and that sounds familiar. I had similar symptoms – loss of power and the check engine light. Notice any delay when you press the accelerator?

Yes, there's a noticeable delay in response when I hit the gas pedal. Did your issue also affect fuel efficiency? What did you do to fix it?

Yep, the delay and the fuel consumption got worse. I didn't mess with it myself. Took it straight to a workshop. Turned out to be the throttle valve.

Thanks! Sounds like I should do the same. I'll take it to a shop and have the throttle valve checked. They confirmed that the throttle valve was defective and after the replacement, the car runs normal again. The repair ended up costing me 265€.
