Thanks for the quick response! I haven't really noticed any engine misfires or rough idling. Only the light and the error code. Does that change your diagnosis?

Given the absence of additional symptoms like engine misfires or rough idling during cold starts, the likelihood of a defective glow plug remains high. It's indeed plausible that the issue is isolated to the glow plug circuit. I strongly recommend that you seek assistance from a qualified mechanic who possesses the necessary diagnostic tools to accurately verify the condition of the glow plugs and, if necessary, proceed with their replacement. Continuing to operate the vehicle with a faulty glow plug could potentially lead to further complications and increased repair expenses in the long run.

Thanks a lot for the advice. I took it to the workshop and you were right, it was the glow plugs. Cost me 440€ to get them replaced.

Hello! I once had a similar problem with my Peugeot 207. When the preheating lamp stubbornly refuses to turn off and the error memory is populated, a defective glow plug is indeed a likely culprit. However, before definitively pointing fingers, could you elaborate on whether you've noticed any other symptoms, such as engine misfires or rough idling, particularly during cold starts? Such additional information could potentially aid in confirming the diagnosis.
