Peugeot 207 Solar Sensor Error
Summary of the thread
A Peugeot 207 owner is experiencing a solar sensor error and weak heating. The issue might be related to the sensor itself or its connections, such as a faulty cable or plug. It is suggested to check the HVAC sensor readings and consider professional calibration or repair, as diagnosing sensor issues without proper tools can be challenging. Booking a workshop appointment for a thorough inspection and potential repair is recommended.

Thanks! No sensor calibration, just read the error code. Haven't checked HVAC sensor readings either. Where's that HVAC sensor, and can I check it without special tools?

Without the right tools, those sensor readings are tricky. But with the error code, it does sound like the solar sensor. My shop fixed it. If you aren't familiar with sensor calibration, a pro might be best. If it's the cable/plug, maybe 95€ to repair. Book an appointment to check the sensor connections. Hope this helps!

Thanks for the advice. I'll book a workshop appointment to inspect the solar sensor and connections. Seems like the best way to get it diagnosed and fixed. Appreciate you sharing your experience!

I have a 207 too, and this sounds familiar. My weak heat was sensor-related. Did you do any sensor calibration or fault detection before thinking it's the cable? Did you check the HVAC sensor readings?
