Peugeot 207 Tire Pressure Sensor Fault

I'm writing to report a tire pressure sensor fault on my 2010 Peugeot 207 with a gasoline engine. It has 193940 km. I get a 'Tire pressure too low' warning and an error message on the speedometer. Diagnostic shows an error stored. I think it's the sensor batteries. Any ideas?

Summary of the thread

A 2010 Peugeot 207 is experiencing a tire pressure sensor fault, displaying a 'Tire pressure too low' warning and an error message despite correct tire pressure levels. The issue is suspected to be due to depleted sensor batteries. The solution involves replacing the sensors, which resolved the problem.

Hey there! I had something similar happen with my Peugeot 207 too. Drove me nuts! Was the warning light constantly on, even after you checked the tire pressure?

Yes. The warning stays on even after I've checked and set the tire pressures to the right levels. What was the issue you had with your 207?

Yep, sounds exactly like what I had. I checked the pressure a million times, inflated them, nothing worked. Eventually, I took it to a workshop, and they sorted it out pretty quick. Best bet is to get it looked at.

Thanks for the advice. I took it to a mechanic. It was the sensor battery, like I thought. Had to replace the sensors. Cost 280€.
