Peugeot 207 Transport Mode

My 2012 Peugeot 207 (gasoline engine) seems stuck in transport mode with electrical issues and a dead navigation system after only 25005 km. Could this be a manufacturer configuration issue? Has anyone else had this problem with engine start, car configuration, or the immobilizer? Any tips on disabling transport mode or accessing vehicle settings?

Whoa, transport mode on a practically new 207? That's wild! Are you absolutely sure it's transport mode? The symptoms could point to a few things. Does the engine crank, or is it totally dead? Have you tried basic troubleshooting like checking the battery voltage or the main fuses? Sometimes a low battery can trigger weird electrical gremlins. Also, is there any immobilizer warning light on the dash? That could be a clue.

The engine doesn't start, and the starter motor is inactive. Battery voltage is a nominal 12.6V, and all primary fuses look intact. No immobilizer warning light is on. Could transport mode be stopping the ECU from allowing fuel delivery or ignition? Is there a way to disable this transport mode without going to a dealer?

Okay, engine's not even cranking – that definitely points to transport mode, especially with no immobilizer light. That mode shuts down non-essential systems to save battery life during shipping. While you're hoping for a DIY fix, getting it sorted usually involves hooking it up to Peugeot's diagnostic software (Diabox/Planet) and deactivating it there. Peugeot tends to lock these things down tight. Get it to a workshop with Peugeot-specific diagnostic tools. They can switch it off quickly.

Thanks for your expert advice. I'll take it to a workshop with Peugeot diagnostic tools to fix the transport mode issue. It seems like proprietary software is the only way. Thanks again!
