Thanks for the quick response! I'm not that familiar with car electrics. When you say 'signal lamp assembly,' do you mean the bulb holder itself? Where should I be looking for corrosion?

Yes, 'signal lamp assembly' is the unit the bulb sits in. Corrosion often occurs where the wires connect to the bulb holder and where the assembly plugs into the car's wiring harness. Given your experience and the error being stored, I'd advise taking it to a qualified workshop. Sounds like you need a multimeter to diagnose it fully.
