Peugeot 207 Washer Fluid Warning No Spray

I've got a 2015 Peugeot 207 diesel and I'm getting a 'washer fluid low' warning on the dash, even though the reservoir is full. The windshield washer system isn't spraying either! I've checked topping up the fluid and looking for leaks, but nothing. The error is stored in the error memory. Any ideas what could be causing this?

I had something similar happen with my Peugeot 308. No spray, low fluid warning even when full. Have you tried listening near the washer fluid reservoir when you activate the washer? You should be able to hear the pump motor working. If you don't hear anything, the pump might be dead. A new pump is fairly cheap and easy to replace yourself.

Good shout! I'll give that a listen. When yours went, was it gradual, or did it just suddenly stop working altogether? And did you get the same error message on the dash?

It was pretty sudden. One minute it was working fine, the next nothing. And yeah, same error message 'washer fluid low' and the wipers wouldn't spray. I'd still recommend a visit to the local workshop, just to be sure.

Thanks for the advice! It ended up being exactly what you said, the washer pump motor was dead. Fixed it for 25€ at the workshop.
