Peugeot 208 Battery Issues

I haven't checked the voltage myself, not sure how to do that. If it IS the battery sensor, can I replace that myself, or should I take it to a shop? Is it possible to test the sensor somehow?

Given that you're not familiar with voltage testing, I'd advise against replacing the sensor yourself. A faulty reading can damage other components. It's best to get a workshop to diagnose it properly. They can test the sensor and the battery to pinpoint the exact cause of the low voltage. You're looking at a bill around 315€.

Okay, that makes sense. I'll book it in at the garage then and have them check the battery sensor. Thanks for the help, appreciate the advice!

Flickering lights and a weak start point to voltage issues. Given the mileage, the battery sensor on your 208 could be failing. Have you checked the battery voltage while the engine is running? What readings are you getting?
