Peugeot 208 belt handover issue

Hi, I've got a 2021 Peugeot 208 (electric engine) with a weird issue. It's done nearly 300,000 km. Basically, the belt-handover doesn't seem to be working anymore. Could this be a bad belt tensioner? Has anyone else had this issue, or am I just unlucky?

I had a similar issue with my 208. Belt drive problems are the worst, aren't they? Is it making any strange noises, or is it just completely failed? Could also be the tensioner pulley. Did you check it?

Yeah, it turned out to be a defective belt bringer/handover. I had to get it replaced. Cost about 450€ including labour. Better get it checked out in a workshop before it causes more damage to the engine.
