Peugeot 208 Climate Control Failure

Climate control panel is dead on my 2023 Peugeot 208 diesel. Error stored, heating output is really low, and the AC won't switch on. I've read it could be a defective cable or plug connection. Mileage is at 120283 km. Any ideas before I start tearing the dash apart?

Sounds familiar! I had a similar problem with my 208. Check the wiring harness behind the control panel. Could be a loose connection or a dodgy earth. Did you check the relevant fuses already?

Thanks for the quick reply! Which wiring harness exactly? And where is the grounding point located? I already checked the fuses, they seem to be OK.

Yeah, I had the exact same symptoms. It was indeed the wiring harness. Honestly, I just brought it to a workshop. Didn't want to mess around with it myself. They sorted it out pretty quickly and it didn't cost a fortune.

OK, thanks for the advice. I think I'll follow your lead and take it to a shop. I saw some estimates online around 95€ which seems reasonable. Hopefully, it's just a loose connection they can fix easily.
