Peugeot 208 Climate Control Fault

Yeah, I had a quick look at the plug, seemed okay visually, but I didn't get the multimeter out. Are there any specific pins on the connector I should be checking for voltage or resistance? Any common failure points in the wiring loom that are known for causing this kind of temperature reading issue?

While I do not possess intimate knowledge of the specific pinout values for your Peugeot 208's climate control sensor, based on your description and your prior experience, the most judicious course of action would be to present the vehicle to a qualified workshop for further diagnosis. The repair cost you mentioned seems acceptable.

Cheers for the advice! Took it to a local garage as you suggested, and you were spot on. Turns out it was a dodgy connection – loose plug on the temperature sensor. They cleaned it up, re-seated it properly, and cleared the error. Working like a charm now, and cost me just 95€. Sorted!

Greetings. While I haven't personally experienced that specific fault in a Peugeot 208, climate control issues are not uncommon. Have you verified the integrity of the sensor's wiring harness and connector? It may be prudent to inspect those components for any signs of corrosion or damage.
