Peugeot 208 Electric Power Window Failure

Hi, I've got a 2023 Peugeot 208 (electric engine) with around 130k km. Recently, the power windows have stopped working. No response from any of the switches, and I've pulled the codes which show a generic 'window regulator' error. I'm leaning towards a defective power window switch, but has anyone encountered something similar?

Hey, I had a similar issue with my 208. Before you go ripping apart the door, have you checked the wiring harness where it passes from the car body to the door? Those wires are known for getting brittle and breaking. Also, which error code exactly did you pull?

Good shout on the wiring harness, I'll definitely give that a look. I did check the harness at the door, but didn't notice anything obvious at first glance. Which specific wires are prone to breaking? The exact error code is B10EA-11.

Yeah, it's usually the thinner gauge wires in that harness that go first. You will have to pull back the rubber boot to inspect better. Error code B10EA-11 confirms regulator motor circuit malfunction. Still, inspect the harness, but it's probably going to require diagnostics at a workshop.

Thanks for the insight! Ended up taking it to a local shop, and as suspected, the power window switch was indeed the culprit. Total cost was around 200€ including parts and labor. Appreciate the advice on checking the harness first though!
