Peugeot 208 Engine Stalling
Summary of the thread
A 2020 Peugeot 208 with a gasoline engine was experiencing engine stalling and a persistent check engine light. The issue was suspected to be related to the EVAP system, possibly involving a faulty tank ventilation valve or clogged hoses. After taking the car to a shop, clogged hoses were cleared, and a valve was replaced, resolving the problem and eliminating the check engine light.

Pressure sensor? I haven't checked that specifically. Where is that usually located, and is it something I can check myself without special tools?

Typically, the pressure sensor is somewhere along the EVAP lines, often near the charcoal canister or the fuel tank. If the hoses are indeed clogged, or the purge valve is faulty, replacing those fixes the issue. That being said, if you're not familiar get it to a workshop.

Thanks! I took it to a shop, turns out some hoses were clogged, just like you said. They cleared them out and replaced a valve. Cost me about 175€, but the light is gone and it's idling smoothly now.

Could be the EVAP. That system deals with fuel vapor recovery to reduce emissions. A faulty purge valve or clogged hoses are common culprits. Has the pressure sensor been checked? Could be sending bad data.
