Peugeot 208 fuel level sensor fault
Summary of the thread
A 2015 Peugeot 208 experienced a check engine light and engine stalling at idle, with a diagnostic scan indicating a fuel level sensor fault. Initial checks of the fuel cap and wiring did not resolve the issue. A suggestion was made to inspect the fuses, but ultimately, the problem was identified as a faulty fuel level sensor. Replacing the sensor resolved the issue, with the repair costing approximately 52€.

Thanks for the quick reply! I did a quick check of the fuses under the dash, but I didn't see anything obviously blown. Is there a specific fuse location I should be looking at?

Yeah, it's a pain to find, honestly I would recommend taking it to a workshop. In my case, it turned out to be the sensor itself, and they replaced it pretty quickly. It cost me about 50€ all in.

Thanks for the advice! I took it to my local garage, and you were spot on. It was the fuel level sensor. New sensor and labor came to 52€. Running great now!

Strange, I had a similar problem with my 208. Check engine light, stalling... nightmare. I seem to remember reading something about a fuse related to the fuel tank being a potential culprit, but I am not 100% sure. Did you check all of your fuses?
