Peugeot 208 Oil Level Sensor Fault

I've got a 2015 Peugeot 208 diesel and I'm pulling my hair out. I keep getting an "oil level sensor faulty" error on the dash, along with the oil pressure light sometimes. The error is stored in the memory, and the mileage is at 165042 km. Anyone else seen this? I'm guessing it's a bad connection somewhere?

Yep, sounds familiar. I've got a 208 too, had similar weirdness with the oil gauge. Did it start happening after any specific event, like an oil change or a particularly bumpy road?

Good to know I'm not alone! No, it seemed to come out of nowhere. Like a light switch, one day it was fine, the next day it was throwing errors. Any idea what fixed it for you?

Mine was similar. In the end, I took it to a workshop. Turned out to be a dodgy connection, like you suspected. Cost me 95€, so not too bad. Might be worth getting it checked out professionally.

Thanks! I'll get it booked in. Glad to hear it wasn't anything too serious, and cheers for the info, that gives me a good starting point. I appreciate it!
