Peugeot 208 Rear Window Heating Issue

Hey, I'm having an issue with my 2023 Peugeot 208 (electric engine). The rear window heating isn't working. I get an error message, and the windshield defrost seems weaker too. Could a dead battery cause this?

I had a similar problem with my 208. Have you checked the battery? A heavily discharged or defective battery could be the culprit since it affects the power distribution to things like the rear window heater.

Well, the auto defrost was acting wonky, plus I got a general 'low voltage' error on the dash. Honestly, I took it to a workshop, they confirmed the battery was toast. Better get yours checked.

Thanks for the advice! I took it to a shop, and you were right, it was the battery. Cost me 290€ to replace, but at least the rear window heats up now!
