Peugeot 208 sporadic errors

I'm experiencing a strange issue with my 2013 Peugeot 208 (gasoline engine) with 172617 km on the clock. I keep getting sporadic errors while driving, mostly related to the audio/navigation system cutting out. Sometimes, I'll get illuminated error lamps and temporary shutdowns of control units. I've scanned it with an OBD-II reader, and it's storing error codes. Has anyone else run into something similar?

Sounds familiar. I've got a 208 too, though not the same year. I had issues with random system failures and warning signals popping up out of nowhere. Does it seem to happen more often when you're using certain features, or is it completely random? Did the scan tool point to any specific modules?

Thanks for the quick reply! It does seem pretty random, I haven't been able to tie it to any specific function. The scan tool shows errors related to communication on the BUS system. Could it be related to that?

Ah, a BUS system error... That rings a bell. My issue turned out to be a faulty cable connection to one of the control units. I'd suggest getting it checked out by a workshop. They can diagnose the specific cable and repair it.

Thanks, that's really helpful! I appreciate the insight. I'll get it checked out by a mechanic and mention the cable connection issue. The repair ended up costing around 155€. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction!
