I can't remember the exact error details, but yeah, sounds very similar. I'd recommend getting it checked out at a workshop. Could be a simple fix, but better safe than sorry with steering!

Thanks for the insight! I took it to the workshop, and you were right – it was a defective cable connection. Repair cost me 95€ Appreciate the advice!
