Peugeot 208 Stuck in Transport Mode

Hi, I've got a 2018 Peugeot 208 with a gasoline engine that's throwing me for a loop. Mileage is at 149252 km. The car says it's stuck in transport mode. This seems to be causing a general electrical malfunction, and the navigation system is completely dead. Any ideas what could be causing this? Is it something simple I'm missing?

Transport mode, huh? Had something similar happen with my old Opel Astra. Different symptoms, but same root cause. Did this start after disconnecting the battery or any recent work on the car's electrics?

No, nothing like that. It just sort of happened. Could it be that simple? Is there anything I can do myself, or am I looking at a garage visit?

In my case, the dealer had to reset the ECU. Seems like the car forgot its configuration. Since yours is a 2018 model, a software diagnostic check might be needed. Worth a try before deeper investigations.
