That's interesting. I hadn't thought about the sensor batteries. The car has 245691 km on it, so they're probably the originals. Did you eventually confirm the sensor fault somehow?

Yeah, it turned out to be exactly that - the sensor battery. The workshop confirmed it with their diagnostic tool. They replaced the faulty sensor for about 280€, including the air valve, and that solved the problem completely.

I had something similar happen on my 208 as well. Was driving me nuts! Kept getting the low tire pressure light. I think it might be related to the tire pressure sensors themselves. How old are they? Could just be the sensor battery giving out.
