Peugeot 3008 AC and Error Issues

Hey, I've got a weird issue with my 2017 Peugeot 3008 hybrid. 85377 km, and now I'm getting an error in the error memory, plus a message on the speedometer. The AC won't switch on either. I think the temperature sensor in the heat exchanger is bad, maybe a defective AC control unit. Anyone seen this before? Trying to gauge how serious it is before the garage.

I drive a Peugeot 3008 (not sure of the year), and I had similar symptoms. The error codes pointed to a heat exchanger issue, specifically related to the cooling system. Was the sensor calibration checked? This might be related to a coolant leak as well.

Thanks! That's helpful. When you mention sensor calibration, can a standard mechanic do that, or is specialist equipment needed? And for the coolant leak, would I see a puddle or is it more subtle?

The sensor calibration needs specific diagnostic tools, so a workshop is necessary. A coolant leak isn't always visible but can be, so check the coolant level. I recommend going to the workshop: in my case the AC control unit was defective.

Alright, I understand. Thanks a lot for the helpful information and for sharing your experience! I'll take it to a trusted workshop and have them investigate the AC control unit and the sensor calibration, and check the coolant level. It was indeed the AC control unit which was defective and the repair cost me 980€. I really appreciate your help!
