Peugeot 3008 AC Issue

Hi, I've got a 2017 Peugeot 3008 (gasoline engine) with about 44,000 km. The AC stopped working completely. It doesn't cool, and the system doesn't seem to switch on. I've checked the AC fuses, and they seem fine. Could a defect in the individual valves cause this?

Hey! I also drive a 3008 and had a similar AC problem last summer. By 'doesn't switch on', do you mean the AC button on the console doesn't light up, or that the fan is blowing but there's no cold air?

Thanks! Yes, the AC button lights up, and the fan works perfectly. There's absolutely no cold air coming through, regardless of the temperature setting. Is this what you experienced?

Yep, that sounds exactly like what happened to mine. Turned out to be a valve issue within the AC system, like you suspected. Diagnosing AC problems can be tricky without the right tools. I'd recommend getting it checked out by a qualified technician.

Thanks, that's really helpful! I'll book it in for a proper AC diagnostics check. Appreciate the advice. It was exactly the valves in the AC system, cost me around 1000€ to get it fixed. At least it's sorted now!
