Thanks for chiming in! No squealing noises that I noticed, everything was pretty quiet. I've checked the tensioner pulley, and it looks worn, yeah. How did you end up resolving your issue?

Yep, sounds like exactly what happened with mine. I tried messing with it myself, but honestly, it's kind of a pain. I ended up taking it to a workshop. They confirmed it was the tensioner and replaced the whole belt drive. Save yourself the headache and just get it checked. Cost me around 450€.

Appreciate the insight! Just got the car back from the shop. You called it - defective belt tensioner. Repair cost was 455€, so pretty much exactly what you said. Thanks for the heads-up!

Wow, that sounds familiar. I have a 3008, and I had a similar issue a while back. The belt tensioner went bad, and it caused all sorts of problems with the engine performance. Was it making any squealing noises before it completely failed? Did you check the tensioner pulley for wear?
