Peugeot 3008 Cruise Control Failure
Summary of the thread
A 2012 Peugeot 3008 diesel experienced a cruise control failure with no dashboard indication, but an error was detected via an OBD2 scan. Initial checks of the fuse box yielded no results. Suggestions included inspecting the pedal switch and speed sensor connections. Ultimately, the issue was traced to a defective plug connection, which was confirmed and repaired at a workshop.

Thanks for the suggestions. I haven't checked the pedal switch yet, will do that tomorrow. The error code was pulled using a standard OBD2 reader, nothing fancy. Where is the speed sensor located?

The speed sensor is often near one of the wheels, but honestly, pinpointing the exact location can be tricky. My cruise control issue turned out to be a defective connection, but finding it was a pain. I'd say, if you're not comfortable tracing wires, maybe a workshop visit is in order.

Thanks for the tip! It turned out to be a defective plug connection as suspected. Workshop visit confirmed. 95€ repair. All good now!

Hey, I had a similar cruise control issue with my 3008. Have you had a look at the pedal switch? Sometimes they can play up. Also check the speed sensor cable or plug connection. Where did you find the error stored?
