It was intermittent for a while, now pretty constant. Did you manage to fix it yourself on the Volvo, or did you end up taking it to a shop?

Electrical gremlins aren't my forte. I took it to a trusted workshop. They traced it back to a corroded connector, cleaned it up, and it was golden. Probably worth a look before you start replacing parts.

Appreciate the insight. I ended up taking it to the shop as you suggested. They confirmed it was the connector and quoted 95€ for the repair. It should be sorted soon!

Sounds familiar! I had similar woes with my old Volvo V60. Same symptoms: limp mode, high fuel consumption. It turned out to be a faulty connection on the fuel filter heater. Is the error intermittent or constant?
