Peugeot 3008 Gear Shift Issues

My 2014 Peugeot 3008 diesel has a malfunctioning gear shift indicator display. I can't engage the gears, leading to implausible shifting. The gearbox slips and shifts uncleanly, with grinding noises. The error memory has an error, and the gear selection display is non-functional. I suspect a defective control unit. Has anyone else seen something similar?

I own a Peugeot 3008 as well and, although the symptoms were slightly different, I had an issue with gear selection. The car would sometimes get stuck in a gear, and the display would show the wrong gear. Did you check the transmission fluid level?

In my case, the workshop found a faulty sensor in the gearbox. The error code pointed them to it. Given that you're experiencing more severe symptoms, and have multiple errors logged, I'd recommend getting it checked out by a professional soon.
