Peugeot 3008 Key Battery Issue

Hi, I've got a 2016 Peugeot 3008 hybrid with about 169k km. Recently, I've been getting a 'key battery low' warning. Now the keyless access doesn't work, there's an error stored, and unlocking is a pain. I'm guessing the battery in the key is dead. Anyone else had this?

Yep, had the same issue with my 3008. Started with the low battery warning, then the keyless entry went kaput. Double check if there's an error message, it could be more than just the key fob battery.

Interesting. You had the exact same symptoms? Did you try anything specific, or just replace the battery?

Same symptoms indeed. I tried replacing the battery myself first, but the error remained. Ended up taking it to the shop. They confirmed it was the key fob battery and recoded the key. Cost around 37€ with parts and labor.

Thanks for the info. Sounds like I'll need to head to the shop. Replaced the battery myself, and the problem is still there. Will post the solution when it's sorted.
