Peugeot 3008 mixture preparation error
Summary of the thread
A 2009 Peugeot 3008 diesel is experiencing a 'mixture preparation error,' leading to a check engine light, reduced power, rough engine performance, jerking during acceleration, and occasional stalling. Possible causes discussed include issues with the oxygen sensor, a rich mixture, the mass airflow sensor, or the intake manifold. The problem was ultimately identified as a defective injector valve, which was repaired, resolving the issues.

Interesting! Mass airflow sensor or intake manifold, huh? What kind of symptoms did you have exactly, and what ended up being the problem?

Yeah, the check engine light was on, and it felt like the car was struggling to breathe, especially when accelerating. Never stalled completely though. I ended up taking it to a workshop, and they sorted it out pretty quick. Might be worth doing the same!

Okay, that's super helpful! Thanks for the insight. I'll take it to a shop and mention the mass airflow sensor and intake manifold. Just got it back! Turns out it was a defective injector valve. Cost me 515€ to fix, but it's running like new again!

Whoa, sounds rough! I had something similar with my 3008. Have you checked the mass airflow sensor or the intake manifold? Could be a vacuum leak somewhere messing things up.
