Peugeot 3008 radio antenna issue

Alright, Peugeot gurus, I'm pulling my hair out! My 2018 Peugeot 3008 diesel is giving me radio grief. I'm getting an error message on the infotainment screen, and the audio system is dead. The garage checked it and found an error code. They reckon it's the antenna, but has anyone else seen this? Car's only done 31228 km. Is the antenna really a common failure?

Yep, sounds familiar! I've got a 3008 too. Was it just a dead signal, or were you getting loads of static noise before it went completely?

Hmm, thinking about it, there was definitely more static than usual for a while, especially in areas where the FM signal wasn't the best. Did you have to replace the whole antenna?

That's exactly what I had! Sadly, yes, the whole antenna unit needed replacing. The workshop told me the booster in the antenna is a weak point. Best to get it checked at a shop you trust.
