Peugeot 3008 Running Rich
Summary of the thread
A 2018 Peugeot 3008 with a gasoline engine is experiencing issues such as reduced power, a check engine light, rough running, excessive fuel consumption, and jerking during acceleration, indicating it is running rich. The problem is suspected to be caused by a faulty injector, which can lead to a rich fuel mixture and the associated symptoms. After scanning for codes and further investigation, it was confirmed that a defective injector is indeed the cause, and the vehicle has been taken to a workshop for repair.

Yes, I scanned it. Getting codes pointing to a rich mixture, but pinpointing the exact cause is proving tricky. If it is the injector, would that explain all the symptoms?

A defective injector definitely explains all of it. Too much fuel will cause a rich mixture, hence the reduced power, rough running, and increased fuel consumption. Jerking under acceleration fits too. Time for the workshop, I'd say.

Cheers. Dropped it off this morning; you called it. Bad injector. Quoted 515€ for the fix. Thanks for confirming my suspicions.

Running rich, eh? Check engine light is a clue. Have you scanned for codes? An O2 sensor fault might also trigger similar symptoms. What codes are you seeing?
