Thanks for the tip! When you say 're-pairing,' do you mean just going through the standard Bluetooth connection process again? Or is there something specific I need to do? I'm not super tech-savvy when it comes to car electronics.

Yeah, I mean deleting the existing pairing from both your phone and the car's system. Then, start fresh like you're connecting for the first time. If that doesn't work, honestly, it might be worth a quick check at a workshop. They can usually diagnose these things pretty quickly. It could be a software glitch or something simple.

Took your advice and went to the workshop. Turns out it was an incorrect pairing, just like you suggested. They reset everything and re-paired my phone. Cost me 45€, but everything's working now. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction!

Hey, that sounds familiar! I had a similar problem with my old Opel Corsa a few years back. The 'function restrictions' thing is annoying. In my case, it turned out to be related to how the phone was initially paired with the car. Did you try deleting the device from the car's system and re-pairing it?
