Peugeot 3008 Windshield Washer Heater Error
Summary of the thread
A 2021 Peugeot 3008 diesel with 90,000 km is experiencing a windshield washer heater error, causing blocked spray nozzles in freezing temperatures. The issue is likely due to a faulty connection or corroded wiring to the heating element, which is typically located near the washer fluid reservoir. After checking fuses and connections, the problem was resolved at a workshop, where a dodgy connector was identified and repaired for 95€.

Good shout on the connections, hadn't thought of corrosion. Where exactly is the heating element located? And yeah, the code seems specific to the washer heater circuit. Is it usually a pain to get to? Don't want to start ripping apart the car if it's a bigger job than I can handle.

Okay, so the heater element is usually integrated into the washer fluid reservoir or very close to it. Check the wiring going to the reservoir first. If the error is specific and you've checked the fuses and wiring, it could be the element itself. Honestly, at that point, unless you're really comfortable with electrical diagnostics, I'd suggest biting the bullet and taking it to a workshop. They'll diagnose it properly and you won't end up making things worse. Save yourself the headache, you know?

Cheers for the advice! Took it to the workshop in the end. Turns out it was a dodgy connector. 95€ all in. Pain in the backside, but at least it's sorted. Appreciate the help!

I had a similar issue on my 3008. Frozen nozzles are a nightmare, right? Especially when you're trying to see through all the road grime. Have you checked the connections to the heating element itself? Could be a loose plug or corroded wire causing the problem. Is the error code a generic one, or something specific to the washer system?
