Peugeot 3008 Windshield Wipers Not Working
Summary of the thread
The windshield wipers on a 2015 Peugeot 3008 are not functioning, and an error is stored in the error memory. Possible causes include a defective cable or plug connection, a faulty rain sensor, or a connection issue in the wiring to the wiper motor. It is suggested to inspect the rain sensor and wiring harness for damage or loose connections, and if unresolved, to consult a workshop for professional inspection and repair.

I haven't inspected the rain sensor, and the wiring harness looked okay on visual inspection. Where should I be looking for potentially defective connections, and is there anything else that might be causing this?

Well, in my case it ended up being a faulty connection in the wiring to the wiper motor itself. Honestly, if you're not comfortable digging too deep, it might be worth taking it to a workshop. I ended up doing that and it cost me around 95€, but at least it's fixed properly now. Could save you a lot of time and frustration.

I appreciate the advice. I'll schedule an appointment with a local workshop to have the wiring inspected. Thanks for your assistance.

I had a similar problem with my 3008 wipers. Did you check the rain sensor? Sometimes that can cause problems. Have you checked the wiring harness for any obvious damage or loose connections? It's a fairly common issue apparently. Does the turn signal work fine?
