Peugeot 301 ABS and Steering Issues

Yeah, I gave them a look-over. Couldn't spot any nails or screws sticking out. I even pumped them up to the recommended pressure, but the warning light came back on after a short drive. Could it be something beyond just a simple flat?

Okay, if inflating didn't solve it, then yeah, it's probably not just a puncture. When I had this happen, it turned out to be a faulty valve in one of the tires. It was leaking super slowly, which is why I didn't notice anything obvious at first. The pressure drop messed with the ABS, and that put extra strain on the power steering. I'd say get it checked out at a workshop ASAP. Cost me around 280€ to fix.

Thanks a bunch for the insight! A faulty valve makes total sense, especially with the slow leak. I'll book it in with a local garage and mention what you said. Hopefully, it's just that! It was indeed the valve, and the car is now fixed! Thank you!

Whoa, sounds familiar! I've got a 301 too, and I had almost the exact same symptoms a while back. Low tire pressure warning, ABS light doing its thing, and the steering getting all heavy. Did you check for any visible damage to the tires? Any chance you ran over something?
