Peugeot 301 AC Problem
Summary of the thread
The Peugeot 301's AC problem involves the system blowing warm air or not functioning, accompanied by an error code and occasional warning lights. Initial checks of the fuses showed no issues, leading to suspicion of a faulty compressor. However, advice from another individual suggested the problem might be with the AC control unit. Upon professional inspection, it was confirmed that the AC control unit was indeed the issue, and replacing it resolved the problem.

Control unit, eh? Where exactly is that located, and is there a way to test it without special equipment?

On my Astra, it was integrated into the climate control panel. Sadly, testing without proper diagnostics is tricky. Based on your symptoms, and my experience with the Opel, I'd advise getting it checked at a workshop. Could save you time and money in the long run. Better safe than sorry, right?

You were spot on! Took it to the shop, and they confirmed it was the AC control unit. New one fitted, system recharged, and I'm 980€ lighter. But hey, at least it's freezing in here again. Cheers for the advice!

Sounds familiar. Had a similar AC issue on my old Opel Astra. Turned out to be a faulty control unit. Have you checked that?
