Peugeot 301 Air Suspension Fault

I've got a 2015 Peugeot 301 with a gasoline engine, and I'm running into an air suspension issue. The car won't lift anymore and is leaning. I'm getting an error and a warning light. The low beams are also pointing off. I suspect a defective cable or plug connection. Anyone seen this before?

Sounds familiar. I had something similar happen with my 301. Check the connections to the compressor itself. Could be a loose plug or corroded pins. Also, have you checked the ride height sensors? Sometimes they can cause weird issues if they're not reading correctly.

Thanks! When yours had similar problems, were the symptoms exactly the same? I'm hoping to avoid replacing the whole compressor if it's just a wiring issue. Did you check the sensors or just the compressor?

Yeah, pretty much identical symptoms. Error message, leaning. I fiddled with the connections hoping for a quick fix, but ended up taking it to the shop. Turned out to be a corroded connector like I said. Saved me from buying a new compressor, which would've been way more expensive. I would advise you to do the same.

Great, that's really helpful! I followed your advice and took it to a workshop. They found the defective plug connection just as we suspected. The repair ended up costing me around 95€, so a big win. Appreciate the help!
